First unit arrived as pictured. It looked like half of the device had melted. It was fully boxed and no damage to the box was visible, so someone must have boxed it that way. Luckily, Revane came along and quickly replaced the device. It works fine but the signal quality is not very good.

About three years ago, after buying a new TV, I gave up our Wii gaming system because it only had HDMI ports. After the kids begged me to "restart the Wii," I found this little gem on Revain. It worked great right out of the box, in fact the kids installed it themselves and have been playing ever since. Excellent purchase!

This technology is fully as advertised. It is absolutely plug and play device. The HDMI cable was long enough to connect the device directly to the Wii console. We bought an Ultra High Definition TV and Wii Sports looked very blurry on it. We used to have plasma televisions. This device did exactly what it said it would do and it was so easy even I could do it.

Very easy to install, even a grandmother can do it. That works great. I have a Smart TV and years ago I dug up my Nintendo Wii and wanted to connect it to my TV but the gaming system is too old for a Smart TV so I bought it with fingers crossed. And it was exactly what I needed. Simply connect the system to your Wii and then to the HDMI port on the back of your TV. That's all.

UPDATE: HDMI cable with nylon braid is long and very durable If you have a good TV, this adapter is perfect for you. The adapter looks very nice when used to feed video and audio to my plasma TV. Now I can use my Wii at 1080p and it's a very good experience. The video looks great on my 55" 4K TV. No lines or blur; just perfect picture and sound. Setup is easy, just plug one end of the HDMI cable into your TV and the other end into the converter! any questions!

We have started using our Wii which is probably 15 years or older. The composite video cable connected perfectly to our Super Smart TV except the color was black and gray. Bought this for my daughter to take the Wii to college. Her roommate's TV only had HDMI. The TV showed it with vertical stripes down the sides, while the Wii's center screen shrank like an old CRT screen.
