Product works as advertised! I was able to connect a USB mouse and keyboard to it. But I had to remove my case. I didn't even think about the Surface Case when I ordered it. I just take the Surface out of the case when I need to use the adapter

I thought it was flat but the case actually curves out a bit so the top and bottom aren't 100% flat from the front and back. Insert a fast 200GB MicroSD card to use as a backup device and files will transfer at a decent speed.

Although I did quite a bit of research before ordering this product it is important for everyone to know that it will not fit my surface because I have an outer cap and edge of this cover is very close to displayport. For this reason the hub does not fit. Anyone purchasing this product should check if this applies to their situation. I haven't been able to use it, so one star doesn't necessarily indicate a product defect.

What I like about this device is that you can connect more than 1 USB device to Surface Pro (I have 6).
