plays vinyl and is decent enough. The software it comes with is fine for transferring records to modern formats, BUT 1 - the sleeve looks crappy live, its handle and clasp look like they belong in a school lunch box, not a $100 one -Piece. 2 - the speakers themselves are so-so 3 - when plugged into the RCA connectors the speakers don't turn off and there's no switch to manually turn the speakers off. It would be nice if this were the case, using headphones a little inconvenient 4 - the quality…

Works great and sounds great

I wanted to play 78's EASY and my home stereo could only play 45's and 33's so I bought this unit and am very happy with it. I haven't connected it to larger speakers yet, but the cinch sockets on the back make it possible. Sounds good. I don't expect CD quality but it's good and very easy to use. Cool player in turntables

I love this player, the built-in battery is AMAZING! When it arrived I took it out and used the included USB cable to connect it to one of my USB chargers (you'll need something like this plug sold here at Revain, cut and paste www.amazon.com/ Adapter-Apple-iPhone -iPad- Black/dp/B004V9L06E/ref=sr_1_38?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1374744120&sr=1-38&keywords=usb+charger+plug ) and started playing vinyl records. I left it on overnight and now three days later tonight I've played four albums on…

Good portable player for the price!

I bought this turntable to play my old 45rpm records so as not to ruin the needles of my good turntables. Most of my 45's are from the 60's and are heavily worn out from playing cheap turntables when I was a kid. Other than that I'm very happy that it does what I bought it for, pretty well. I would never put one of my old records on it because it has too much downforce, but for a 45 it's perfect. The battery allows you to conveniently carry it from room to room or outdoors without fiddling with
