Such a disappointment.

Well, where should I start. Shipping is delayed causing this item (with main shipping) to be delayed for my daughter's birthday? Or the fact that he immediately jumps onto a brand new record? Double disappointment.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Repair

Didn't work best in turntables and accessories

Received my package and although it was perfectly packaged it did NOT work. The turntable was uneven and bounced rather than rumbled to my LP. Fortunately, Revain has the best customer service in the world. It's a very nice design and the sound quality of the radio that worked was great but it didn't serve its main purpose of playing my records :(

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Loves this gift in Turntables & Accessories

My 18 year old. old brother said several times how he really wanted me to spin the turntable. So I bought him this and he loves it. He can't stop saying how good it is. When he's not listening to a vinyl, he listens to the radio or even plugs in his phone to listen to downloaded music. In fact, he's on all the time when he's home. Best $50 I've Ever Spent!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I will add later

Was looking for a cheap standalone turntable to play my albums, wasn't expecting much from it but WOW!, I was blown away by how good it sounds and the quality and price of this product. If you are looking for something to share from your albums and hype I highly recommend this and the radio works well too.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Almost never

I don't really recommend buying this

I don't really recommend buying it. The volume becomes distorted after you increase it by a certain amount. Also, the aux port didn't work when I tried to play music from another source, and the overall sound quality was pretty poor. It's not even worth the low price it's advertised for. The only thing I like about him is the chic look. When you want something that will turn heads. and make a cool addition to your decor than it can be cute. Just don't turn it on.

Pros
  • . Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Sounds good! Expecting the worst

My daughter recently received 8,000 CDs as gifts. And she started begging me to find one for her. I figured they don't make working turntables unless they're for DJs or something. Obviously I was wrong. I was a little worried that it wouldn't work or that it would sound very good and she would be disappointed. But as it turns out, they sound a lot better now than before and are a lot easier to use. She's very lucky that she has an almost retro sound and I'm glad it doesn't sound terrible.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Problem playing 180g 12 inch?

I had trouble playing 180g 12 inch on this player, particularly the first few tracks where it does almost nothing but excessive skips and jumps. When it comes to the middle of the album or when I'm playing disc 45, there aren't excessive skips and jumps. However, after playing the 180g a few times, it usually "learns" to play the first few tracks normally; like he's supposed to "break" them or something. I had to replace the stylus after only owning the player for a few months and rarely using…

Low quality but great price

Disappointing right out of the box. He immediately started to admit that he wasn't cut out to play big records properly. The downside is related to the weight of the head on the needle. It is pushed off the plate and therefore cannot maintain contact with it. Instead of returning it and going through a world of pain, I fixed it by attaching a penny to it. Also, the speakers are loud enough to fill a small house and the radio is very decent. The playback options are great too and the style is…
