Problems playing 180g 12 inch?

I had trouble playing 180g 12" on this player, especially the first few tracks where it does almost nothing except excessive skips and jumps. When it comes to the middle of the album or when I'm playing disc 45, there aren't excessive skips and jumps. However, after playing the 180g a few times, it usually "learns" to play the first few tracks normally; like he's supposed to "break" them or something. I had to replace the stylus after only owning the player for a few months and rarely using it, although I believe it was the condition of the record I was playing that caused it to break. Not that much of a problem with older, thinner 12" discs, but newer pressings are typically 180 grams so having to spin the record 10 times before hopefully it works is annoying - I have an album that I bought brand new got and it doesn't matter. No matter how many times I've played it, the bouncing and bouncing is still an issue, despite the vinyl itself showing no visible damage. a few extra bucks for a decent player who just seems to play what and when they want.
