The color of the fabric is bright orange and pleasing to the eye. The fabric is thin and almost stretchy so it stretches a lot when you sit or lean on your chair. The pieces have no long fuzz that slides down the sides. So if you start from scratch you will not be able to install the seat.

The fabric is much thinner than the real directors chair canvas. The backrest fitted well but the seat section was too small - didn't fit and didn't stretch to slide over the wooden side supports. Since the back and seat are the same width, this is simply poorly designed or executed. Don't waste money.

I ordered the blue one and it goes very well with my umbrella but I wish it was stated somewhere in the description that there are no sticks that fit in the cloth seat. No chopsticks anywhere. It was good that a canvas seat was attached to the chair with sticks, but it was painful to wear. I'll keep that in mind the next time I order a replacement.

replaced broken wooden batons in 2 director's chairs. Not sure if this product is usually hard to get into the grooves or maybe the old chairs are the problem, but it took a few tries to get them to stay in place properly. However, once installed, they work well and we get to use these fairly old chairs on a regular basis. They are worth their price.

I like the replacement. I measured but they are a bit short on the seat. However, the biggest problem was that the end of the seat where you have a piece of wood on the sides, the material is too bulky to slide in the wood. That's why, if you look at the photo, I couldn't move it all the way to the front due to the bulkiness of the material and the stitching.
