Works great. Here's how to install this thing on a yellow Dyson ball. Unwrap the cord as if plugging it in to get it out of the way. Pull the metal tube out all the way and detach the rod as if using tools. Lay the machine back side up. Detach the top of the hose (shown on the right in this picture) by squeezing the two gray clips with the yellow thing on top where you hook the cable and gently pull the hose down. It will come down. The hose was incorrectly attached to the sleeve when delivered. The small black latch should snap inside. Since it didn't, I couldn't roll a solid pipe into a vacuum hose for storage. With a little patience, a headlamp, and pliers, I was able to disassemble and repair my purchase in about 20 minutes. I have this replacement tube for my Dyson DC15 Animal and it works great. The hose even had a rubber grommet on the end that mounts next to the motor (thought they might save it as the products aren't always shown exactly as you get them). At first I thought the hose was too long to roll up in the machine's hose storage compartment. The hose was compressed just enough to fit perfectly and now it's not a problem.
