The best streaming box on the market at any price. They quickly replace Teradeks as they break and wear out ours. We've had more issues with various Teradek models than we can track. If you're looking for an encoder that just works, this is it. Difficult to set up if you are unfamiliar with basic computer networking. There is no LCD display, so you will need to go to the web access page to make any changes. The SDI input is a big plus. Can send two HD streams at the same time.

This SDI encoder takes a little longer to set up and run. Once you learn the interface it will be pretty easy. I've had 2 of these on a streaming TV show in the last 7 months. The devices work reliably 4 days a week, 10 hours a day in 1080p. The pictures look good. For the price I bought a 3rd device as a backup but never used it. I highly recommend these web encoders. Customer service is good. They will reply in a few days.

The encoder works very well. The UI is a bit clunky, but it gives you a way to tweak all the different options it supports (there are quite a few). The device does not heat up. This one looped SDI so it's great for this use case. If you *need* other things that more expensive devices offer, give them a try. But for the price it does what it's supposed to do very well. Technical support responds very quickly to questions and provides firmware updates. It's very nice to work.

I was glad I knew a thing or two about setting up streaming encoders because I was sure I would only get lost with the documentation that came with the encoder. In the end I just went through the menu and entered the necessary information based on my experiences with other programmers.
