Heavy Duty Leather: Protective Clothing

A good thick leather apron offers generous protection. The arrangement of the straps is a continuous loop, ie if the shoulder straps are long, the waist strap is shorter and vice versa. I'm 6ft 6in, waist 42ft and it fits me just right. When fully extended. The strap can be adjusted shorter. The skin surface is rough and thick to provide good protection I recommend.

Good Welding Apron Best in Aprons

I am a new welder just learning MIG welding. I looked around and found this apron and loved the reviews I read. I've used it 5-6 times and I love it. It is long and well protected from welding spatter, grinding sparks and dust. It was a good price for a heavy piece of leather. The only slight issue is that I'm quite wide (40" waist, 48" chest) and the straps get tighter around the waist. I wish they were 1-2 inches longer, but that's not uncomfortable. Just what my husband needed and wanted

I ordered this for my husband who is just starting out in forging. He's a tough guy and this apron fits him perfectly. Shoulder straps that don't pull on your neck. The latch/plug is of average quality. So far it hasn't had any problems with it, but I personally see it breaking after prolonged use. It's also fairly small for large "smithing jobs". guy's hands. But that's by no means a deal breaker. These types of caps are easy to find if and when they need to be replaced. He's happy with it, so
