This tiered jigger is quite well made except the internal markings on mine were very badly stamped and almost illegible. This is the type of jigger you use to speed up the pouring of liquor and ingredients. The graduated areas are fill lines, but since I'm new to this I had to use a precisely marked glass shot glass to figure out (and remember) what the levels on either side are.

This is the most accurate meter I have found - I used a scale and water (1 oz = 29.57 grams) to calculate the weight/amount to confirm each indicator. Of all the jiggers I've used, this one was the most accurate on every indicator, and the step indicators make it easier and faster to use. All my other jiggers (regardless of price) have been everywhere checking partial and/or full gauges. Inaccuracies can accumulate and ruin a great cocktail.

This jigger has a solid construction yet is lightweight. I love that it not only has the standard 1/2 oz and 1 oz sizes, but is also marked 1/4, 3/4, 1 1/2 and 2 oz. Also, the indicator lines run in a circle so you can see if it's full from any direction. Most have a short indicator bar in one spot that's hard to see if you hold it wrong. I didn't realize such small details could make a difference but it's a lot more useful than other jiggers I've had.

I don't know how accurate it is but it's easy to read and clean no matter how many drinks you've had. Finally, by the end of the night, he will have drinks prepared for you. What I love about this jigger is that the engraving is on the outside and it's clearly engraved so you can't go wrong with the ounces. The same line engraved on the outside is the same line as the metal shaped for the inside measurement, so you can't go wrong with counting ounces correctly. The only reason I didn't give the easy to read 5 stars is that the engraving could have been bigger and not so small then it would have been easier to read; but that jitter is still easy to read in good…
