Usagi Cosmetic Hairband Shower Headband Review

I really wanted these and as much as I love them I can't help but be disappointed. I ordered both the black and blue versions, both headbands fit me perfectly, beautiful and soft. However, the crescent is off-center on both! So I either have to center the ears on the head and the moon looks ridiculously crooked, or I have to center the moon so the ear is closer to the top of the head and one to the side of it. Bought this as a little birthday present for a close friend who loves Sailor Moon. I opened it this morning to check. It was wrapped twice in plastic and when I opened it it was a little hairy. It's super soft as mentioned in other reviews. But when I turned it over, the stitching came undone. Such a cute luna spa headband. One ear was sewn too close to the center crescent. So if I want the ears on the bandage to be on either side of my head then the moon is no longer in the middle. If I want the moon to be centered like it should be, then one ear should be about an inch higher than the other. It's all cattywompus. My ears were different shapes. One was round and the other pointed. I want them both pointed and round because it looks very strange. It was also very expensive for a single headband and there really is no excuse for a single sided headband when it costs that much for one. I am so disappointed.

This item is simply amazing Although the material is NOT absorbent (it's a thin, velvety material - similar to a Halloween costume), the material ensures that it gets everywhere finished hair should not be disturbed by wearing it. I would recommend that you use it when applying makeup or cosplay, but not when washing your face. You can even wear this for a long period of time and I don't think it will harm your hair. I love this headband it's so cute and I love putting it on before washing! It's not super plush, but it's very soft and made of a lovely velvety fabric. I'll probably add a few stitches to the ears to hold them in place, otherwise they would naturally lay flush with the scalp.
