USB C Docking Station Review

Connected this device to 2 separate laptops, neither device recognized the adapter. USB drives connected to the adapter are not displayed.

I wanted a docking station that would fit my laptop snugly, not a dangling grommet. It worked fine so I bought 2 of these and then the charging port on one of the docks suddenly stopped working 2 weeks after the return window closed. This is an issue as the dock occupies both USB ports on one side of my MacBook Pro to sit flush. I got this for my new MacBook Pro. I needed a hub mainly for HDMI and USB ports. Works great! And yes, all three USB ports can charge my iPhone.

Everything worked fine for about a month then Zoom connection problems started. I thought it was my router but it turned out to be a dock. The Ethernet connection no longer works. Then HDMI crashed. I've tried to contact the seller but the only way is via email. I haven't heard a word for two months. The USB and SD card ports still work, but I think it's only a matter of time before they stop working too. Not recommended.

Purchased for my son's Chromebook. Provides power to the computer and connects to peripheral devices. I just wish the PC connection was a little longer and more flexible.
