Does not support the performance required by the multiport adapter.

When I use this extender, it makes my HDMI monitor work and sends power to my MacBook Pro for charging, but then again it doesn't want to send enough power to support USB cables. connected via an adapter. When I plug the Satechi multiport adapter directly into my MacBook, it works great for all purposes. As soon as I plug this extension cord back into the USB multiport jacks, they don't charge anything and don't work properly.

Quality construction feels NOT suitable for Samsung DEX/Galaxy Note 8 (GN8)

Cable quality feels nice -- not yet tested for durability over time as it doesn't match with me and back Samsung DEX Dock: D- Connect Clean - OK HDMI Pass Through - OK Ethernet Pass Through - FAIL USB Device Pass Through: FAIL with my Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/Mouse. Cable versus a straight dock. The ONLY reason I bought this cable is to connect it to the DEX without removing the Note 8 case. I have both USB devices and GigE connections in my DEX. Very good quality - and it works

After about 40 minutes of plugging/unplugging the Type-C USB charging cable for my new Asus ZenBook UX425E, I noticed that the plastic parts are sticking inside the tiny Type-C connector started to warp and under the magnifying glass a kind of plastic disappeared. To make sure it doesn't get stuck in a port on the laptop (which is obviously much more premium), I ordered this short cable as a disposable extension to an OEM charger for $65. It works. Like, like, something like. Not reversible.

In the introduction to this review I would like to say that there is no USB-C standard for extension cables. This cable simply implements the USB-C cable standard, with one end being a female connector instead of two male connectors. That's bad because the USB-C cable itself isn't reversible. The implementation of the device makes it reversible. USB-C cables are not required to implement USB 2.0 on both sides and a full set of sideband signals.
