Good quality and works great

I've been looking for a cable that will allow me to use my latest 27" iMac from 2009 as a target monitor for my HP ProBook and MacBook Air. This cable works great. All you have to do is plug it in and press Command+F2 and the connected laptop's screen will appear on the iMac.Press Command+F2 to switch between the laptop screen and the iMac screen Connections seem to be very good. StarTech support is also very helpful and quick to respond if you have any questions.

Worked best in USB cables

It worked well when using the USB-C output from a 2018 MacBook Pro to a 2010 iMac in target display mode, allowing it to function as an external monitor.

This cable works! on USB Cables

Managed to connect an old 27" iMac to a newer 2019 Mac Air for use in the target display. The only thing I ordered is 6ft and I am getting a 3' instead Foot long cable. Sometimes there is no sound with iMac but all you have to do is unplug the cable and plug it back in. It just worked! I've tried many cables and yes! It worked.

Good quality and works great

Everything what you have to do is plug it in and press Command+F2 and the screen of the connected laptop will appear on the iMac, press Command+F2 to switch between the laptop screen and the iMac screen, cable and Connections look very good StarTech Support is also very helpful and quick to respond to questions.

This cable works! in cables and connections
