I bought a pair of these cables so SO and I can play on PC from the couch, when using the cables windows just returns the error Unidentified USB device but when used it does different USB cables to the same USB ports, Windows detects the controllers perfectly and they work as expected. Very disappointed that these cables do not work despite the product name being PS4 compatible.

Used for XBox controllers and lasted about 2 months before the micro USB connector pins got stuck in the connector and now the cable won't work with the Xbox controller remains connected. It has only been unplugged about a dozen times and, according to the product description, should survive "more than 10,000 plugging and unplugging operations".
