every time I use it even for a short time my phone gets very hot. My phone is a brand new Samsung s9 plus that never gets hot at other times or from other cables, even from the dollar store. I wanted to send it back but it wasn't even in the package, they just put it in an envelope and then the time ran out. The length might seem like a plus when you buy it, but it's actually absurd, confusing throughout the room, and longer than you'll ever need.

I compared the 10ft cable to the cable that came with my phone. When using the Samsung charging adapter, my phone says that both cables take the same amount of time to charge. The cord wrap is strong and covers the entire cord. The fork ends are well protected from damage when pulling or bending. Plus, they come with a handy little velcro strap to neatly roll them up when not in use. Be careful with this cable. They have slow and fast charging cables. This is a slow charging cable. This works if you're charging overnight and don't need anything fast. The only thing I found was a black cord about 3 feet long. The type of cable that came in the box when you bought the phone.
