Great product but confusing instructions for use

This is a surge protector that (according to the instructions) should be turned off during a thunderstorm. This is what I thought was the purpose of the surge protector: to make sure lightning bolts don't damage anything just plugged into the wall! What I like about it is the "spacious" space to accommodate wide (phone-like) jacks. I didn't have enough time to know what I would do if lightning inevitably struck. I could connect it to one of my "real" surge protectors and use it as a power cord.

JACKYLED Extension Cord

This extension cord was purchased to get rid of the many cords running from the TV to the outlet. I have a TV, cable box, DVD player, and fireplace wand plugged into outlets spaced far enough apart to fit large plugs. The length of the cable with the spade connector was just what I needed to bridge the distance from the outlet to the TV. The compact size of 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" plus USB ports is ideal for travel. I've only had it a week, but haven't had any performance issues. I recommend this…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other models

Lots of nice USB-A sockets and plugs/ no USB-C

Pros: I liked that this product has lots of plugs and multiple USB-A plugs. The cable is long and not too thick. It would be great for travel! CONS: No USB-C connector but technology is changing, several new Android phones and new iPads are now using USB-C. I think the price was high for not having at least one connector for newer technology. If you don't care about newer technology/USB-C, then this is the perfect outlet; It works well and has plenty of USB-A plugs and sockets. Otherwise, I…

  • Rugged design
Cons

No fast charging

The claim that it charges phones quickly is the main reason I bought this power strip. I wanted to be able to use all the ports for my computer hardware and have a charging cable permanently plugged into USB to quickly charge my phone. This is NOT FAST CHARGING. I have confirmed that my charging cable is compatible with fast charging and it is, so the problem is with the extension cable. return for refund.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Convenient power supply to charge many things

I travel and have many chargers that I take with me for cameras, flashlights, etc. and was looking for a convenient way to plug them all in for charging. Some of my chargers have large power heads, so spacing between outlets was important. This power strip has 6 widely spaced sockets (now facing each other - apparently they were facing each other on previous models) that can accommodate almost any large charger I have. Some items, such as B. Camera chargers are connected via USB, so it is very…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Extension cords have plugs that fall out

It took me a long time to figure this out because I thought it was about the appliances and because it wasn't full, but several outlets were too big! My chargers aren't working and I even swapped one out before realizing it was too loose in the line filter. It's different with plugs like vacuum cleaners, just keep stopping when the plug falls out of loose holes. I hope I can return.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • A number of factors

As expected, wish it was UL listed

This socket matches the description. The fork is flat, which is ideal for a bedside table. My only complaint is that the description says it's UL listed, but it's not. Splinters can be a major fire hazard and having UL lust would put my mind at ease. The product is made in China and this puzzles me as I am assuming this product is mass produced at the lowest price for the supplier/manufacturer and not necessarily high quality standards as the top priority. will i use it Yes.

  • Electronics
Cons
  • New Competitors
