Perfect Fit best in Key Shells

This was just what we needed to fix our broken 2012 Honda Odyssey key fob. The internal parts fit easily and fit perfectly. The new case design looks better than the original. ACE Hardware cut the key for $4.99 and now we're back in business. Good product!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Make sure you have the inside of the old one.

Laser cut key cost me $26.00. I had the insides from my old key so no problem. The locksmith said he could program it for $54 if I need it. Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot cannot use this key. You need to find a locksmith that has special equipment that can do this.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Buy a silicone case!

Our local top-of-the-line fittings found it a bit difficult to cut, but we successfully disassembled and ran our 2011 Honda Odyssey. We changed our computer clicker component and it worked flawlessly. Seems very durable but we bought a silicone case for the key fob to protect it from future falls.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Modern

Works perfectly! on key cases

Bought this for my 2011 odyssey as my old key case broke and the metal part of the key was separating from the fob. The original key fob insert fits perfectly in this case! Ace Hardware cut the key with my original and the key works great with no additional programming! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great alternative to the dealer key!

Take this key and drop it off at your local Ace hardware store for $8 and you can get a $250 key for only $25! Locksmiths around me took money from everywhere. $40-90 but based on the reviews I saw here I went to the Ace Hardware Store. Now it seems like not every Ace has the specific machine they need, but it was worth it when I found them as they only charged $8. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Is working. Easy. on key cases

Works. Easy. Replaced innards of an old key fob for a 2013 Honda Odyssey. Case closed and screw tightened with the small screwdriver provided. I gave the key to a local locksmith for "laser" cutting and voila, the car started the first time. The only thing that didn't occur to me is to stick the included replaceable Honda logo on the back. Regardless, it still does what it's supposed to and should last for years if I change the batteries regularly.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Extremely economical replacement of the key fob housing.

Comes in a small pouch with blank key, small screwdriver and Honda sticker on key fob. I called several locksmiths as this key needs to be laser cut. I paid $40 to have them cut at the store. I simply transferred the components myself. I checked before leaving. It needed a bit of tweaking, but after it worked like a charm the car started. The key didn't fit the door lock very well, but I still never use the manual method. I also bought a silicone protector to keep it from breaking. I'm glad I…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Vulgarity
