Doesn't work with my temperature controller. I have made .

Doesn't work with my temperature controller. I used the wire and spring to repair my existing thermocouple so it wasn't a total loss. It was my fault for not reading my controller's manual carefully; Lesson learned.

Pros
  • Test, measure and test
Cons
  • Very expensive

Formed guesswork best in temperature probes and sensors

I bought three Amico thermocouples in various configurations, all type K. When I use them with my low level K type digital thermometer the changes Reading when measuring ice around 10*F water. Placing the probes that came with the meter in the same glass of ice water will make the readings 10* colder.

Pros
  • Temperature and humidity
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

These are grounded thermocouples

They worked as intended but it would be nice to know that they are grounded. This has proven to be a problem for me in my application where I have multiple thermocouples mounted on a sheet of metal. It would be nice to know that they are grounded. Otherwise they work great.

Pros
  • temperature sensors and sensors
Cons
  • small parts
