Good thing I have 96 fuses left

Just what I needed when I accidentally connected my DMM to the positive and negative terminals of a car battery and the original fuse removed . And I did it over and over again by accident. Oops! Good thing I have 96 fuses left!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other fuses

These little fuses do what they were designed to do.

When you use small portable electricity meters, at some point you will accidentally touch something that has too much current for your meter. So it will stop working. The solution is one of those little 1/2 volt fuses. Buying 100 of these little things is too much. But that's not the same as going to the Radio Shack to get it. With one from RS you can get 100+ from AMAZON if you have the time and fuel. I received them from AMAZON within two days.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great quantity for the price

Great quantity for the price, couldn't find it at my local hardware store. I bought these specifically for a DMM that had the same amperage but was slightly longer than this. They fit directly into the multimeter without any problems. I bought it for long term use in case someone borrows my tool and returns it with a blown fuse. I could buy them individually instead of in bulk, but who wants to pay $1 for a fuse at a small local hardware store? The fuses are also made by a Chinese company…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
