Metal replacement for plastic plumbing nuts which are known to become brittle over time. Fits well and won't break like plastic. A little thinner than I expected but if you overtighten I'd rather break than the plastic pieces that are part of the mount.

Very disappointed! I'm working on a Homart brand sink (porcelain dated April 18, 1959) - it's replacing plastic faucet washers that cracked just a few days ago. These brass faucet nuts would have been a perfect replacement for the cheap plastic nuts that broke but it didn't work. The brass nuts thread nicely onto the faucet's 1"-14 threads per inch extension after a quick wire brush clean.
