Cheap material. Doesn't work at all. I think they just think people are stupid. I couldn't believe it when I received it.

Works great but requires patience to remove the old RF or Magnetic chip from the old one and install the new one. I recommend doing this at a table over a white piece of paper to keep track of fine details.

only use plastic, buttons need circuit board from your old keys, and the key part is useless at all! Bought to replace worn buttons and a broken latch between the key and buttons - the chip for the working key is in the plastic of a broken piece of my key - tried converting my metal key into this case before I knew about the chip and the Plastic is shaped differently so it doesn't fit my metal key

I used this to replace a broken key on my Mazda. As advertised, it's just a shell with no internal electronics. I was able to open my old key without any problems and transfer the electronics. It was a perfect match. The key can easily be cut by a locksmith. I forgot one important thing, there is a small black chip in front of the case, which is an immobilizer. Don't forget to include these and the chip for the door/trunk locks.

This key has allowed me to replace my worn key fob, remote lock chip and immobilizer chip. You need to open both halves of the remote control side and the key side, and replace the immobilizer chip on the key side and the remote control lock board on the other side.2.
