606 (I.D.=6mm, O.D.=17mm, Thickness=6mm). Full ceramic bearing with good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance and insulation. Specially for high precision and high speed operation. Open on both sides for lubricating in place. Applications: Optical instruments, printing machinery, machine tools, high-speed motor, low temperature engineering.

The illustration shows the framework material in the form of zirconium dioxide.

The cage CANNOT be zirconia (can only be rings and balls) as it will break as it is pushed into the bearing and hits the balls. If you're lucky it may be PTFE, but if you're not lucky it's nylon.
