The tools are fine, but the case is mostly useless. Tools, especially sockets, don't sit securely in the case. If you try to close the case, pieces go all over. It's a pain to keep fiddling with a tool kit when you just want to put your tools away.

I bought as a gift. I knew if they took care of this tool set it would last decades if not a lifetime. I’ve owned many craftsman’s tools over the years. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more.

My husband is always taking the around the house tools to work or doesn’t put them back where they go. So, I purchased this set with the understanding of he uses them, he has to put them back in the handy dandy case. Good quality set that has everything I need. My only issue is the pliers don’t fit in the case right so it’s hard to get the case to close.

I bought this little tool kit for my 10 year old grand son. He likes it very much and has successfully used it for meaningful furniture repairs.

The tools are great quality for the price. The only issue I've had is with the "slot" where the pliers go. The mold is a little lite on plastic there

This purchase was a gift for someone who had just bought his first house. He is not normally a fix/repair person so he had no tools. But he will need a the basic tools to hang a picture, tighten a screw, put the legs on his new table, etc. This tool box was perfect for him. Most similar toolboxes are primarily socket sets. But this toolbox has the things you actually need around the house.

This was a gift for my 16 year old grandson who is discovering the world of machines. He is exploring motors and needed I’d first set of tools. Good value

I bought this to keep on my boat for repairs. I have noticed some rust beginning to form on the pliers. So far that is the only tool with rust. After having the kit for awhile I like the case and how easy it is to access the tools and store them. I only wish it had more wrenches. I overlooked that when I purchased the item. Nice home tool kit - I bought it so I would not need to go down to the garage for everything since this has a little of most tools needed. The Case is not very sturdy and the sockets fall all over the place if not opened properly. I can see the plastic latches breaking in the future which will make the case even more of a pain. Craftsman tools are decent quality tools maybe not as good as 40 years ago but adequate for most homeowners.
