Not for as long as it turns out.

They fit my case perfectly. I replaced the broken tempered glass panel with a thicker tempered glass panel that I ordered from a local store. Your glass supplier could not make the original thickness, but could make tempered glass 1/4 inch thick. Add thick rubber washers and Bob is your uncle!

Works beautifully on an orange TT body

Experimenting with so many different preamp tubes, I got tired of fiddling with the ten tiny screws that hold the TT body together. The heads of some standard screws were also torn off. This way they fit perfectly and it's even easier to put them in holes and they look cool! Now I can remove the lid in about a minute. Careful.
