Works great on motorcycles and strength sports

Serious 2 minute replacement and works as it should. Great product for peace of mind. No more infamous clicks, clicks, clicks. When this happens, just press the button and it will flip.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Every Harley owner should have one.

Saves a lot of damage because you don't have to drive home with a trailer. Also, clean those solenoid contacts while you're there. Easy to install if you are mechanically inclined. If not then pay for it, you won't regret it. There are good videos on this subject on YouTube.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Does not work on Softail 2006!

The piston is too long and therefore does not work on a softtail with fixed oil lines coming from the tank. The only way to do this is to stub a solid feed line from the tank to the engine and then connect it with a small rubber hose. Of course, in my opinion, that would be stupid and not worth the trouble. Don't even try to put this on a 2006 Softail. It's not working.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • I don't remember

It can save you when your battery is low!

With the key on, all auxiliary wires and automatic lights on, the coil voltage may be 9 volts or less when you press the start switch. This situation is even worse when the battery is dead. Using this button disables the wire bundle, the high resistance of the switches, and the high current draw of the solenoid. That's more current and voltage for the starter. The solenoid will also last a lot longer. Easy to install, unbeatable for the price!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Bad impression

good part. Fits and works well.

Easy installation, works great. Good as a failsafe in case you have problems with your start switch. You still need to have the key and power to start the bike, so you don't have to worry about others starting your bike and driving away. NOTE: Pushing the button will activate the starter and the engine will rotate each time the button is pushed. *Don't hit it unless your bike is in neutral and the clutch is depressed. * Do not hit it when the motorcycle is already running. Okay, that was myโ€ฆ

Good backup protection

Easy to install in about 10 minutes. Fits my 1.7kW Rivera Primo starter. I reused the rubber grommet and 9/32 bolts from my starter to mount it because I hate hex bolts. They fit great but they keep stripping and trying to get them out. I also used a drop of blue Loctite for extra protection against loosening. It's a simple attachment that makes sense. I don't know why all starters don't come with it by default. My bike is a 1999 Softail with 96" S&S. I have a Rivera Primo 1.7kW starter with aโ€ฆ
