Could this work well for you?

I'm glad it was super cheap otherwise I would have gone crazy. The connection was good the first time, but now it takes me about 3 or 4 minutes each time to figure out what key combos to press to make it work. Sometimes I have to unplug it, turn off the headset, plug it in, turn on the headset, look for the headset, plug it in, then turn off and on again to actually hear the sound. It's not "I didn't wait long enough" or "wrong headset". I have the same problem with all 5 Bluetooth headsets Iโ€ฆ

It works! Audio & Video Accessories

I wanted to connect my AirPods to my PS4 so I can chat with my friends while I play. There were so many bad reviews that it was very difficult to make a decision. Decided to try this one as it will arrive the next day. After a quick and easy installation, I was able to connect my AirPods and had no issues while playing Fortnite with my friends. I set it up to hear full audio plus chat through the included mic. First day and I'm glad I got it! Update I think the downside and the very importantโ€ฆ

2 different devices, both not working.

After returning the first one, I ordered the second one. No, that's just junk. None of them paired with my Bose headphones. The instructions were great, but little did I realize it was just a theoretical story of how something that was supposed to work. I didn't read the other reviews before purchasing and that's my fault. This thing is a hot smoking mess! Stay away, far away!

I work on PS4 Pro.

Well everything works as expected on my son's PS4 Pro. In fact, the microphone is surprisingly well attached to the remote control. The only thing we noticed is that the receiver and the Bluetooth module on the headphones (iJoy FBA_FGE-PRE-STL) need to be in direct line of sight. Anything in between (including turning your head to the right) and the audio will start to break. I'm not sure if it's the headphones or the receiver.

One star deducted because Bluetooth uses its own microphone for chat --- and that's not good

Bluetooth didn't give me any problems. I have high quality headphones and they plug right in. One star deducted because Bluetooth uses its own microphone for chat --- and it's not very good quality. I downgraded to 1 star once because it turned out to be blocked. Changes to Sony's system made detection a bit problematic after the September update, but after a few reboots it was detected again after the update. The device works, but it takes a little fiddling to get it working. BY THE WAY. Theโ€ฆ
