They are much smaller than Valdani cotton beads. Hope the photo helps with the size comparison.

These balls are very small, that's what I expected. I thought they were a standard size, very very disappointed in this product.

Love the product itself but need to pack differently. Spent over an hour untangling three spools. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

It was only packed in half a box (pictured). It was all in the box with only one other item and a piece of bubble wrap, there was no way I could overlook the other four rolls in the box. Incredibly disappointed. They are beautiful but I wasn't sure if they were worth the price when they should have been 12 instead of 8.

Quality and color are excellent. The color is really bright and corresponds to the photo. I think the size of the buns will shock someone because it looks like the buns will be big, but they aren't. I don't know how much a hand dyed embroidery floss costs, but the price seems a bit overwhelming when it comes to the quantity. My purchase was $4 for a small roll. This seems to be on a higher level of the spectrum, but reasonable. It's really great and what I was looking for.
