Provides a high performing and efficient solution for replacing the dual mass flywheel (DMF), this innovative solution replaces the DMF with a solid flywheel and places the long travel damper into the clutch disc. Premium Friction Material for Increased Durability: Valeo's enhanced F510 friction material is composed of an organic compound and higher copper content providing better heat dissipation and preventing premature failure. Consistent Driver Comfort: The long travel damper technology consists of a specific friction plate with a higher damper capacity for improved filtration of noise, vibration and harshness maintaining the comfort of the original clutch. Maximum Torque Transfer: Due to the flywheel's solid composition, combined with the increased clamp load of the Clutch Cover (Pressure Plate), this kit is able to increase torque transfer efficiency. Great stable flywheel!

This is the second clutch kit I have fitted on the same Jetta and looks like a very good product. Also, it's much cheaper than OEM.

Excellent Clutch Kit

I purchased this clutch kit and installed it on a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L. This is a great option to replace the factory dual mass flywheel. Ease of installation. Comes with all parts required for operation, except for the nylon headed clutch lever pivot pin, which must be replaced when replacing the clutch.

Works fine but clutch travel is off.

Everything was fine until I started it and depressed the clutch. The stroke appears to be too large and pushing the pressure plate too far, causing a clicking sound that suggests the release bearing is hitting the clutch disc. I pulled the slave cylinder out to compensate and then found a way to reduce the pedal travel (although there is no factory setting). Works fine for now, but beware!
