We have a bunk house in our caravan and the stove blows so hot out the back it's 20 degrees hotter than the rest of our van. I bought this to see if it would help and we installed it in minutes and it works AMAZING for our problem. My son no longer drips a sweat camping while the rest of us are freezing in other parts of the trailer.

. These Valterra products are a bit off-white and I wanted true white. Also, the levers stick out when you close the vent, making them easy to snag on pants and other things. Finally, the lids come off very easily, which was annoying.

Terrible. The base is too close to the wall it's bolted to so you can't turn the vent in the right direction. I had to build it from a wall unit using flat washers to snap the vent to the collar and allow it to rotate as intended. Looks terrible. I will be looking for another one and considering returning this one. Bad product Valterra,

This item was easy to install. The hardest part was snapping the lid back into place after I installed and screwed the base on. I needed this to try to conduct heat into my caravan's bathroom. The bedroom fan (which I replaced with a Valterra) was right next to the stove and while the bedroom was nice and warm I had to try to spread the heat evenly. The bedroom is still warmer than the bathroom but I use the heater next to the bathroom when we are awake.

Some reviews have complained that these are not very good vents but I think they are described correctly. They have two levers that increase or decrease the flow rate. They never close completely, as there is always a small amount of air flowing through the two doors. The hardest part of the installation was fitting the two halves together on either side of the panel. The tolerances were so tight that I struggled to snap the third locking point. Will test how durable it is.

Our old air vents in our RV are cracked and yellowed. I wanted to get a new update and bought a few of them. Installation is easy, but spinning the fan is nearly impossible without feeling like you might damage the register. In the closed position, two cheap tongues protrude from the register. Since they are installed on our sofa cabinet, these tabs are likely to break quickly. I cannot recommend these as a replacement for the more expensive direct replacement with traditional dials that open…
