🚿 RV Trailer Fresh Water Fill Inlet Hatch - Valterra BLACK Gravity Review

Installed outer part then inserted center piece and found center piece is screwed in and has no stopper. So when you screw the lid on, the center insert unscrews. Very bad design, not well thought out when creating the product. The center piece must snap into place for this part to work. This is an epic manufacturer error and I will be replacing this part in the future.

I installed this on a wall unit in a van with a 26 gallon water tank. It works well enough except when the tank is almost full and there is a eruption/splash as the lid is far from watertight so there is a lot of water leakage. I wish the lid was a little tighter and more thread. If you try to tighten it too much, the inner fitting will rotate off its flange (you can't attach it without gluing).

You can tell this is a quality product as soon as you hold it in your hands. so I recommend getting one from Revain if you're buying a beret, so don't worry about what hoses we use to fill the tank.) Installed with putty/silicone and sealed watertight. No problem holding the lid. I would highly recommend this to anyone
