Most important is the water pump (which I can't drain easily)

I got this to winterize my toy tractor, the problem is I can't get all the water out of the system. , especially the water pump (which I don't have free access to the drain). So I poured RV antifreeze in anyway and ran it through the pump just to be on the safe side and avoid a line rupture and pump failure.

Pros
  • Package width is 3.75"
Cons
  • Upgrades

RV Blow Out Plug did it!

Having recently bought a new trailer I had to winterize it in Texas. By screwing this into the trailer's city water faucet, I was able to set my air compressor to have an outlet pressure of about 35psi and blow all the water out of all the lines and the trailer's water heater very easily. I then pumped RV antifreeze through the lines. Worked great!

Pros
  • Package length is 15.494 cm
Cons
  • Available in white only.

Plumbing Flush Plug

I have a five wheeler RV and prefer to blow out water lines rather than flood them with antifreeze. I love this blow off plug because I can use it with a small air compressor I have in my trailer and it can be used with a simple air liner. This allows me to use my trailer in colder climates as I can blow out the lines when I'm done hiking and not have to worry about the lines getting cold. It's quick and easy to use.

Pros
  • Package Height 0.508 cm
Cons
  • Unsafe

Best stop at RV Parts & Accessories

I used to have a brass valve that worked great. I then loaned it to someone and needed a replacement so decided to give it a try based on the price. I use this valve to blow out the water lines in my house and RV when I'm away for long periods during the winter. This valve only worked once in my house and then it collapsed inside and it took an inordinate amount of force to let air through. It crashed right when I needed it, and of course I didn't have a backup. I'm going to buy a brass one…
