It bends and is quite difficult to handle.

After 3 months of irregular use of my motorhome I have to look for something else. This hose kinks and seems to have a memory as it keeps kinking in the same place. It's also not very flexible except when lying in the sun. Connections work fine.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Other Other

Leak on first use.

This is the second hose I have bought from this brand for my RV. Male end leaks on first use due to necessity. Not properly crimped. The female end has a washer on the connector and will not leak there. The return window is closed. Too bad it wasn't properly tested during production.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Great price

Perfect length, best in plumbing

Upgraded to this hose as the length was much better than our 25ft hose. The previous hose was too tight as we had it constantly hooked up to our camper and for a year the hose was being pulled causing the fitting to leak. 35ft is worth an extra 10ft, especially for hydration tubes. The quality of the hose is excellent, the color is also pleasant. No leaks and comes with springs on the ends to help with cocking.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Very difficult to work with

We've been living with this for a few months now and it's really frustrating. We store it in a tube container and it's almost impossible to roll it up. It's the least flexible hose I've ever used and it's an epic struggle every time we try to put it down. Even in very warm weather, it is not flexible. It's too late to return but I wouldn't buy it again and I need to replace it as it's basically unusable.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Expensive

Bad quality control.

I usually buy Camco Boat/RV potable water hoses. I needed a 35ft hose and Camco was out of stock so I tried Valterra at Revane's suggestion. After installation, the female end of the hose was leaking where it was factory attached to the hose. I didn't have time to return it so I bought a female repair fitting at a local hardware store. Two days later (!) the pipe started leaking too, so I bought a repair fitting for that end as well. Between the price of the Valterra hose and the repair…

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • I don't have much dislike for it, everything is fine
