Exact replacement except handle color

This is the same brand and design as OEM valves. The color of the handle is the same on both sizes I ordered compared to the OEM -Valve the handles were black and gray respectively This is not really a problem Installation is a little tricky to fit the new valves whilst keeping the seals in place The new valves work smoothly and do not leak.

Pros
  • Valve Size: 1-1/2"
Cons
  • Not sure

Great valve for your gray RV tank

Very easy to install. After you have completely drained and dried the gray tank, leave the lid on overnight. simply remove the old one and apply some petroleum jelly around the seals as a lubricant to seal better, screw on with the screws provided and you're done! I usually pour some water down the gray tank drain and leave it overnight just to make sure it seals properly and you're done! Wearing disposable gloves might be preferable if you have some on hand, but then again it's not eau de…

Pros
  • Bladex drain valve
Cons
  • Nothing

Metal handle is what you need

My '99 Bounder diesel engine had Valterra valves, but my gray water tank handle broke off halfway after a year in the cold. 15 years old said the gray water valve gasket started to drip a little. My wife can smell fleas from a mile away so I knew in no time. Now holding the seals in place while the valve was pinched was a bit of a challenge, even though I had applied a thin coat of silicone. Lubricate mine to prevent leakage and prolong life, but I've found that I can rotate and insert the tube

Pros
  • Includes gaskets, nuts and bolts
Cons
