The product is advertised as Valterra T1001-7VP but I received Valterra T1001-9VP as shown in the pictures. These seals will not work with older valves so this is the wrong item.

I had one of these leaks before buying this for the upcoming camping season to take along as a 'just in case' spare. In my opinion, you should definitely take them with you, like the one for the black tank. They work as advertised and are invaluable in an emergency.

It was too small and the valve wouldn't seat no matter what I did. One of the seals was slightly oval and also a bit small. The 3" valve seal was perfect, but the 1 1/2" wasn't. I ended up smearing silicone grease on the old gasket and reusing it. Maybe Valterra has quality control issues? I wasted my money, sorry.

I paid Revain 40 percent more to get the same seals as my valve. Well, what do you think - they do not fit. I have a 2006 camper and apparently the valves were changed around 2000 and I put the older ones. I wish I could use Camco seals they claim to fit all Valterra valves. It would be possible to save and take the right ones. Well, Revane will return some oiled seals to me as soon as possible.
