NOT Raspberry Pi friendly

I cracked this using a 12V power supply and it seemed to work fine on Ubuntu. However, he has NO interest in working with my Rpi4, which is why I bought him. It turns out that the Jmicron chipset has bad/lack of support and the workaround I found for attached SSDs didn't help. For the price it's not worth looking for a solution. I'll just do more thorough research before deciding on a replacement adapter.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

The Right Choice Best Cables and Connections

I am very satisfied with this product. It is suitable for my computer's hard drive to transfer files from windows 7 to a new one with is10. But my work is not finished yet because the hard drive needs a power cable.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Just what I needed for SATA cables

My Seagate portable hard drive's USB port has been failing for years and I didn't think it could be fixed. Eventually one day I couldn't connect at all. I found the solution on YouTube and the guy in the video said this is the part I need. This is a great alternative to accessing all my files on my hard drive 🙏🏽

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Quality

Malfunction. Tried on 2 different PCs and 2 different SSDs.

Arrived quickly but turned out to be defective. Tried on 2 different PCs and 2 different SSDs. I recommend spending a little more. Recommend a StarTech branded adapter instead.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Without machine

Died after 9 months

It worked great for me with an SSD and then I plugged it in for a day and it died. I only used it occasionally so the quality of the product is very poor. TO BUY!

Very easy to use - computers and accessories

Works great. Easily connect and support your drive the way you want it. I do a lot of drive repairs, so I can connect to small drives without removing them from the mounting hardware. It's fast and seems to support the full range of software I use on drives. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Some nuances
