Beautiful Teal Clay for Art Projects

Possibly a bad batch of clay, crumbly and useless after thorough conditioning

Van Aken clay has a fantastic reputation so I was very unhappy to discover that this particular pack or batch of clay was completely useless. After more than half an hour of work with a golf ball sized portion, the clay was very dry and crumbly with no elasticity whatsoever. Attempting to form anything other than simple balls between the arms was impossible. Any pinching or pulling of the product will cause it to crumble and/or break. I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to starting
