I bought a blue Van Heusen button down oxford shirt. I compared it to a shirt of the same fit and color from Lands End and LL Bean. The Van Heusen was the cheapest I've ever had and its price reflects its quality and value. The shirt is badly sewn, a noticeable defect was found when unpacking (unsewn seam). I washed this shirt to get the measurements and then ironed it from head to toe, so to speak. I wore it briefly, then washed it like all other shirts and took it straight out of the dryer when it was cold. Crumpled like crazy. I ironed it and dressed it, washed it again and got a very wrinkled shirt again. That's not to say it can't be ironed, but cotton-poly blend shirts usually are. So remember that if you want an item to look good, it needs to be ironed/ironed after every wash.

First of all the shirts are incredibly large, probably a full size larger than you would expect from most other shirts. Second, the material used for these shirts is very rough. This is not a shirt fabric, but a thicker fabric that reminds me of coarse gauze in its texture. It feels rough and durable, but I don't like wearing it to the office all day. Finally, the shirt looks reasonably well tailored. If it wasn't for the shirt's texture mentioned above, I would probably buy it again.

Knowing the country of origin, I believe this shirt is made from outsourced short-staple cotton, which is similar to the cotton used in denim, based on my decades of experience in the cotton industry. I ordered a small one but it looked more like a medium. I wish they were a size smaller but that's ok. The quality of the shirt seems to be good. I used it for the "fix-it-felix" costume. (Note - the badge with my name was sewn on afterwards)

I work in healthcare and wash my hands about 30 times a shift and am expected to dress well so I prefer short sleeve shirts. This shirt is perfect for that purpose. This is high quality material, not too thin, good looking and comfortable to wear. It has a button-down collar, looks great with or without a tie, and has a front shirt pocket for pens and a flashlight. All in all it's perfect for my needs. In addition, it is a very affordable price.

Five stars for both the product and the small shipping resolution. Great material, heavier than expected for hot weather use. But actually a well-tailored shirt. I am sure that I will have this shirt for a very long time. The return of quality to menswear in general will bring $$$ to manufacturers, retailers and (most importantly) couriers/shippers. Arrived in many folds. I tried ironing it in the dryer, it didn't help. Washed, dried, still all wrinkles. Washed and dried again, now hardly wearable. The fabric looks thin and cheap, not an oxford shirt. The tails are cut straight, like a work shirt, and not tapered like a work shirt should be.
