A good product. for complete systems

Good quality but difficult to install. I struggled a bit as I rarely work with cycles, but this eliminates a hard spot in the stock header that may or may not be the catalyst. It now breathes much better and sounds louder at full throttle than before thanks to the fact that only Vance and Hines carry stock mufflers.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Obsolete

Quality product, good value for money

If you take your time and have a few basic tools you can install the headers yourself. The performance gain and sound amplification cost money. Instructions, to put it mildly, are absent! This requires the use of a tuner and I already had a Fuel Pack 3 when I installed the V&H VO2 Naked intake. Time will tell if I made the right choice.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Well made product at a Made in America price

The results were fantastic. Easy to install.? Approx. 4 1/2 hours including throwing the dog ball. Everything was there and the landing was fine. On the first ride I felt a vibration in the right footboard that wasn't there before. When I came back I found that the heat shield was rubbing against the bracket. not paying attention and has to readjust the heat shield on the front manifold pipe when it has cooled down.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • No performance

Vance & Hines - Complete Systems

I had a Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle 103 Large Bore Stage II Kit installed on my 2009 FLHTCU, I already had Vance & Hines Big Mouth Oval Mufflers on the muffler bike, but after that I installed the large diameter kit and added a Power Duals head tube. My bike runs and runs like a dream. I also have a Vance & Hines FP3 tuner, a great investment on any V&H product I have purchased, V&H supply quality products and they have great customer service👍

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Minor issues

Easy to install on the exhaust pipe

Just installed and took about 3 hours from start to finish including removal of the stock exhaust pipe. It was easy to put on, but V&H's instructions are a bit vague at times. The cross tube screen was difficult to center because you have to make sure that the other 4 screens are in perfect condition. The packaging was different from V&H and everything was branded. The kit includes everything you need for installation, including exhaust gaskets. You may need to find an anti-seize solution for…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The best headgear on the market

My Harley sounds like a factory Harley should. More power, less engine heat, good looks, nicer touches, America. A minor warranty issue that Vance & Hines took care of like a true gentleman. I was worried it would be too loud, but it isn't; I still hear the radio perfectly and my ears don't hurt after a long drive. It's loud enough. I was worried it would smell like a bad lawnmower after removing the catalytic converter, but it doesn't; smells good. I didn't care if it added strength; Added…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • All right

Very happy with these tubes V&H

Installed these on my 2012 Road King replacing the stock HD tubes. The V&H now allows the engine to breathe easier and I feel less heat on my right leg. I give 5 stars for the work, not the installation. The installation instructions are difficult to read. Suggest you find them on the web and print them out on paper in the largest format. I'm very attentive to details, so it took me 8 hours to install it. The biggest problem was the heat shields. I had to remove some of the metal with a hacksaw

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not happy with everything
