You can hear it sucking in air

Looks good sounds good Would recommend for those trying to break away from the stock looks and get some extra performance. Only 4 star rating so far I've only run 20 miles so it's all ok. I hear and feel it's a good upgrade after a few hundred miles or so. I will check again.

Pros
  • Air filter
Cons
  • Only available in white

Suck it hard CA! More Air = More Power

Suck California! I got it over enemy lines and it kicked ass! I set this up myself (bearded mechanic here) using the basic tools listed on the instruction chart (terrible instructions btw, youtube rocks the world). I can really hear this thing working and along with the V&H FP3 it really woke up my engine. The exhaust is next and I can't wait! Incidentally, it was installed on a 2017 Harley Davidson Iron 883.

Bad bolt hole, crappy instructions

instructions shit. The plot is just as terrible. But who needs them when you have YouTube? One of the screw holes on the filter itself was pre-bladed for me, so I didn't have to. Luckily I never got rid of the old screws and found the right size screw, re-threaded it on the back and then used it to finally attach the filter. Went like clockwork. Make sure you use blue threadlock on everything so you don't see your filter rolling down the road next to you.

Looks great, works great, well made

Installed on my 2008 XL1200N (Nightster) and I love the look of it. (I left mine "bare" instead of capping it off) It was quite difficult to install (actually a bit tricky, and the instructions were a bit vague) but it's really well assembled and solid if anything is tightened .screws. I like the pipes to redirect the oil back to the filter, which the Ness Big Sucker doesn't have. I'd like to see a gasket between every component, not just the main body that bolts to the manifold, but I don't…

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Good but not great
