Barely fits in my Osprey Farpoint 40

I decided to ditch my old camera backpacks and switch to a travel backpack with a camera insert and found that many of them are very expensive or tiny and don't have room for my gear. This Vanguard seemed like a worthy compromise. It's still a little pricey, but seems like it will hold up and protect my gear well enough. I use it for storage, not for travel

I have a couple of inexpensive foam hard cases. At first I liked them and I downloaded them. Unfortunately, after just a few months, the foam began to dissolve and no longer protected my equipment. That prompted me to look for alternatives. At first I looked for better quality foam but couldn't find anything that met my needs. I even tried gluing some camping mats together and carefully cutting holes to fit my gear. Again, after only a few months, the mats lost their stiffness and began to fall
