Review on 📷 Vanguard Divider Bag 53: The Ultimate Customizable Insert/Protection Bag for SLR DSLR Camera, Lenses & Accessories by Mark Estrada

I have a couple of inexpensive foam hard cases. At first I liked them and I downloaded them. Unfortunately, after just a few months, the foam began to dissolve and no longer protected my equipment. That prompted me to look for alternatives. At first I looked for better quality foam but couldn't find anything that met my needs. I even tried gluing some camping mats together and carefully cutting holes to fit my gear. Again, after only a few months, the mats lost their stiffness and began to fall apart. I am now using Vanguard Divider Bag 53 as main storage. It's not a hard case and I wouldn't want to toss it in the trunk with other luggage, but it does a good job of storing my gear. At some point I might also decide to go with a hard case, but I can't think of a time when I'd want to travel with that much gear and something that big. . A nice feature of spacers compared to foam is that they can be easily rearranged. With foam, once you've made holes, you'll get stuck in holes. I've only had this separator bag for a short time, but I believe and expect it to last longer than styrofoam. The time will show. I couldn't keep my 70-200 f2.8L or 100-400 4.5-5.6L in this bag due to their size. They were too big to stand up and took up too much space when laid down. There is a mesh bag in the lid of the bag. I threw some gray cards and microfiber cloths in this bag. I don't want to pack anything solid in this bag as there is nothing between it and the gear underneath. I could use a few more dividers but I'm fine with the ones that come with the bag. It would also be nice if the bag were a little more stable. I know this is a bag and not a suitcase so I am not deducting any points for any of these items. Provided this bag does what I expect it to do, I would buy it again or recommend it to a friend.
