🧼 Vanicream Z-Bar Medicated Cleansing Bar - Pack of 2, 3.36 Oz Review

This is the best soap I have ever used on my body. Cleaned his back and removed the ashes from his legs. I've been looking for a product that will cleanse my skin without drying it out for many years. Doesn't leave a filmy feel on skin but doesn't tighten skin like most bar soaps. I just wish it was offered on a subscription basis so I never accidentally run away and go back to my old stuff!

This was recommended to my daughter for acne (her Curology dermatologist). It really helps with that, but I've also found it extremely helpful for skin issues. I love this remedy for back acne. Lather onto problem skin, leave on for 30 seconds (it gets a bit itchy after a while but that way I know it's time to wash off), rinse off, done. After consistent use 2-3 times a week, the back acne was completely eliminated. It's pricey but worth it and the bar will last me a few months.

I purchased this product on the recommendation of my Curology Dermatologist. After 3-4 uses my pimples on shoulders and back are less inflamed and I'm happy to keep using it. I had high hopes for this product after reading the good reviews. Unfortunately my experience was different. This product dried my skin so much after one use and caused significant redness. I've used the original (and discontinued) Z-Bar for years without issue, so I know I'm not sensitive to the main ingredient. The skin recovered in a few days. It looked like it was burned.
