Description of Vantrue 40Mm Ultra-Slim CPL Circular Polarizer Filter For Dash Cam E1, E2, E3, And E1 Lite - Reduce Glare & Reflection, Enhance Contrast

This 40mm CPL filter is used for Vantrue E1, E1 Lite dash cam, E2, E3 front lens. Note: It doesn't work for other Vantrue dash cams. It can effectively reduce reflections, enhance contrast and boost saturation while retaining neutral color rendition in all your shots. Aluminum alloy CNC non-slip design, easy to install and remove the filter. Super slim 5.5mm rim profile greatly avoids vignettes on wide-angle lenses. Multi-resistant coating, anti-scratch, anti-fingerprint, anti-static, oil-resistant and water-resistant.

Fits perfectly good for me

It went on with ease. I just wish it came with instructions in case I'm suppose to adjust it or anything, because once on it does have a little twisting action to it. I'm not sure if that enhances the image?

Pros
  • no glare in the video or there is very minimal glare. You should get one.
Cons
  • I don’t notice a difference With this filter

Polar filter did the trick

Not much to review. Had issues with window glare on the inside of my vehicle. Added the CPL filter and problem fixed. Should be supplied as part of the overall package IMO but still not expensive.

Pros
  • Multi-resistant coating, anti-scratch, anti-fingerprint, anti-static, oil-resistant and water-resistant.
Cons
  • Compared to other dash cam filters on the market, the Vantrue 40Mm Ultra-Slim CPL Circular Polarizer Filter is quite expensive, making it less accessible for budget-conscious shoppers

Pretty good, but lacking instructions

This is pretty good overall and does the job it’s intended for, but instructions are lacking. Nothing in what I received explained that this is actually screwed on, which would’ve been good to know.

  • It can effectively reduce reflections, enhance contrast and boost saturation while retaining neutral color rendition in all your shots.
Cons
  • While the filter may reduce glare during the day, it could actually create additional glare when driving at night, which can be dangerous and disorienting

Sent it back because of a camera issue. Vantrue made it right!

It appeared to work, camera had an issue. Vantrue really did an awesome job taking care of my problem! Customer service is absolutely amazing!

  • Just installed & learning how to use.
Cons
  • Added and can’t see a reduction in glare. Shame as I thought it was a sure thing.

Must Have Attachment for the E2

This significantly cuts down glare and reflections for my E2 dash cam. At this price you’ve gotta try it and see for yourself!
