Description of Variable/Universal DC Voltage (3V

Input: 100-240V AC, 50-60 Hz, 0.2 Amps, Type A US Plug. Output: DC Voltage selector for 3V, 4.5V, 5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V and 12V (1.2 Amps / 15 Watts). The slotted key allows you to change the voltage. Cable: 4 foot cable and snap in plugs for 5.5mm x 2.5mm, 5.5mm x 2.1mm, 4.0mm x 1.7mm, 3.5mm x 1.35mm, 3.0mm x 1.1mm and 2.5mm x 0.7mm. This is the power adapter for you if you've ever found yourself with a low voltage DC device (router, router extender, baby monitor, power tooth brush charger, cordless phone base, etc.) and a misplaced power adapter. While you are looking for a matching power adapter you'll find that they all seem to have a slightly different voltage between 3V-12V and slightly different plug. You might find one that matches the voltage but not the plug. It almost seems like a conspiracy!. With this adapter you can adjust the voltage and the base to the device. Most devices have the voltage listed right beside the plug if you look carefully. This power adapter is not for use for laptops.

Excellent 1A DC variable power supply

Variable tips attach easily and change voltage choices easily with the included key. A good selection of tips increases versatility. Good value for money.

Pros
  • Power cord

Failed after four months

It didn't have the right connector for my application so I had to replace it but other than that it was what I needed. It only worked one day for four months and then failed. load of the power pack 1.4 amps; It's rated at 2.0 amps, so it shouldn't even come close to failing due to the load. Bought something else and threw this one in the trash. I do not recommend.

Brilliant choice! in Cables and Connections

So. If you want your electronics to be powered then this adapter is for you! On the other hand, if you're confused with negative feelings about the blinding blue LED lights that can literally light up a room at night - especially if it's the room you're trying to sleep in - maybe this isn't the adapter for you. You MUST dig out a roll of tape to cover the LED. This rating would be an absolute 5 star if it wasn't for that.

  • Audio and Video Accessories
Cons
  • Not sure
