Great shop hammer for power and hand tools

Great 4 lb hammer, I work in the oil field and use it on 2" and 3" hammer joints pretty much anything that doesn't have a full size skid requires. It does the job.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No power

Large 4 pound hammer with wooden handle.

This is a 4 pound hammer with a nice wooden handle. After polishing the varnish, the handles became much more comfortable. I use it for wrist/forearm strength training.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Top hammers! for sledgehammer

I love wooden handled Vaughan hammers. I know the handles are varnished but a bit of sandpaper and linseed oil makes the handles very smooth. I smile every time I use them. These hammers are of very high quality. Made in the USA!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Expensive

Nicely made, heavy for hand tools

This is a hammer. Well made, heavy, decent balance. The grip is tight. I sanded the handle and applied several coats of boiled linseed oil to it. Will be part of my pioneer kit that I'm building.

Pros
  • power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • unreliable

It broke after two weeks

This is probably a good hammer for home use. Last month I ordered this hammer for my crew at our precast plant and it broke within two weeks. My team used this to pound metal castings to rid them of dried concrete residue left behind after removing the product.

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • So far so good
