I purchased my Vaultek VE10 to store my M&P Shield, being that I live in California and also it was the only way the wife would feel safe about having in the house. It's ok, I can deal with that. In short. This product is far superior to any pistol safe I have looked at anywhere. I love the ability to make things my way with the modular design. I bought the MXE and while plenty of room, it would have been nice to receive more than just one " block " to hold two pistols. I did read, and knew to order more foam inserts. Hint, you can buy one extra foam double pistol holder, and still easily fit two more guns comfortably without buying a third. In total I would have no issue finding room…

This is a very nicely packaged and designed safe. It exceeded my expectations. The keyboard is well lit, easy to use. Instructions were clear and obviously written by native English speakers. It can store a handgun and up to 2 extra magazines.I only have 2 tiny nits - I think the cable security could stay in place a bit more without adjustment each time I open the safe. Also, the padding is fine but not as cushioned or durable as my other safes.

Initially just what I wanted. I took a long time researching pistol safes. I really do like this one for its size, weight, cable, interior light, padding.except the fully charged battery stopped working in 3 weeks - or so I thought it was the battery. This is by far one of the top pistol cases I’ve ever owned. It’s sturdy, heavy and solid. It’s a great design. The integrated LED light inside is an added bonus. A huge thing for me is the backup key. The electronic locking devices can fail and you still need to access your weapon. This is a well thought out and practical storage option. It also comes with a cable to lock it in your vehicle if you so desire. It’s just a well made product. I didn’t see a need for the thumbprint biometric reader.

Ordered this for my husband and he definitely likes it! Great quality and opens smoothly. Perfect to put beside our bed for fast access if need be.
