⏰ VDO 370-155 Clock - Vision Black: Sleek and Reliable Timekeeping Essential Review

This would be a 5 star watch if the lightbulbs were replaceable. I took everything apart to find 3 LEDs soldered onto a double sided PCB. I had to modify the inside, drill a hole and solder wires with a bright white LED inside to make my dash fit. All other VDO watches in this style have replaceable backlights. Was it worth it? the simple thing killed it for me. I want all the lights on the dashboard to be the same color.

Problem one: I don't know what the backlight looks like, I didn't connect it after reading how bright it is. Before you buy, there are a few things to consider. If you have an older vdo generation, it will not "fit" in it. It fits the previous hole (size 52mm) but fonts may vary. The brightness of the backlight (much brighter) and the orange clock hands (too small and unobtrusive) make the display bright but almost unreadable at times.
