Vega Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Review

For a vegan protein bar, they're great tasting, travel friendly (they get a little crumbly) but good for a quick mini lunch when you've got a busy day. I leave one in my purse and the other in the car for a few days, I forget to pack my lunch and they get me through dinner just fine.

Meh. Really tasty, really "safe" (they're made in a facility that also processes dairy, so not safe for those with severe allergies who need to avoid the possibility of cross-contamination), vegan protein bars are hard to come by. This is not the one. If you can risk a potentially minimal amount of dairy, that's fine, not great, probably not worth the money. but mine was worse.

Tastes like a regular granola bar and you wouldn't guess this is a protein bar. However, unlike many protein bars, the Vega Protein Snack Bar doesn't taste bitter, instead offering a better experience. For this experience, value for money is an issue. It's being sold at a huge cash price and I can only get it when it's on sale. But still, the benefits of consuming this bar over other protein bars are significant considering the price.
