Stops sealing after a few uses. Do not buy.

We wanted to phase out the use of single use plastic bags in our home. This was the first reusable style we bought. The first couple uses the bags as expected. The quality was good, they are thick and I expected them to last a long time. After a few uses I couldn't reseal or close the pouches. At first I just thought it was a bad bag in my backpack and threw it away. But after a few days, a few more stopped working. All bags have been hand washed with mild soap and water. Hard to close: food storage bag

When I first opened the package with them, it smelled oddly of perfume and was "damp" inside. The inner packaging of the bags looked fine, so I just washed them thoroughly. I was very excited when I first opened the bags because they were so much easier to open and close than any other reusable silicone storage bags I've tried before. It was impressive.
